Why We Built This

Most online PDF tools upload your files to remote servers. Your documents pass through unknown infrastructure, stored temporarily (or not so temporarily) on machines you don't control. For sensitive documents, this is a problem.

We built Private PDF Tools to be different. Every operation runs entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

How It Works

We use modern browser technologies like WebAssembly and JavaScript to process PDFs locally. Libraries like PDF.js (developed by Mozilla) handle the heavy lifting. When you select a file, it's read directly into your browser's memory, processed, and the result is generated—all without any network requests.

No Accounts. No Tracking.

There's nothing to sign up for. No cookies tracking your usage. No analytics watching which files you convert. Just open the page and use the tools.

Works Offline

Once the page loads, you can disconnect from the internet and continue using the tools. Perfect for working with confidential documents in air-gapped environments.
